Intro to Jiu Jitsu

This class is catered to people with little or no experience. We will talk briefly about the history of jiu jitsu, the concepts you will learn, and practice basic body movements and positions.

Fundamentals (CT-A): Core Concepts

The Fundamentals (A) program is designed for people with minimal or no experience in mind. It is the core Fundamental class and follows the curriculum designed by Professor Caio Terra. These classes are essential to building a solid foundation for our students. Proficiency in this curriculum is required for advancement to blue belt. Knowledge of this program is required for all colored belts.

Fundamentals (CT-B): Advanced Concepts

Everyone is welcome to attend this class. Techniques will include more advanced concepts and positions. Fundamentals does not mean basic, it means important so these classes are vital as you progress in the art. This is a Traditional Gi class and is an hour-long. For students with no experience they are encouraged to try the Intro to Jiu Jitsu and Fundamentals (A) classes when possible.

Intermediate/Advanced (CT-C): Blue belt and above

This class explores more advanced positions and the application of the fundamentals of Jiu-Jitsu. This class includes time at the end for live training. This class requires experience and is for colored belts only. This is a traditional gi class and typically runs 90 minutes in length.
